Domino
Square and Fast.
Whale Sharks have a square, flat head, eat plankton, and are covered in white polka-dots; because of this, in some places they are called "Dominos". While eating plankton has nothing to do with this model, the wide flat head does remind me of them so it only seemed fitting to name this model the Domino. Up front is a broad, blunt nose, with lots of surface area beneath it, making the domino paddle like a much larger board. This nose then transitions to a wide thumb tail. Together, these concepts let you ride the domino short; when up and planing it feels much like a hybrid. It has become a favorite of mine for mushier waves, where I need to paddle a little faster to get in, but don't want to sacrifice turning ability by having to ride a longer board.
Designed for waves 2-7 feet. Like all models, it can be customized to rider request. Not usually suitable for step up conditions, however it can be ridden in larger than recommended conditions if the waves are a bit slower. Most riders will enjoy one about 6 inches shorter than their height, depending on wave choice.
