Charter Information
Come aboard the 17ft Boston Whaler Kelp Kritter, for a fishing adventure! My vessel features a new Suzuki 60hp 4-stroke motor for reliable, clean performance, an open layout, hi-definition Garmin GPS/Sounder, and all safety and boating gear necessary for a good day on the water!
I am currently in the process of patterning the Santa Barbara area. For a limited time, I am offering special pricing of $100 for all exploratory charters booked these first couple months (whole boat, not per person).
All clients over the age of 15 must acquire and keep on their persons their own fishing license with ocean enhancement; failure to produce a valid license at boarding will result in being sent to buy one immediately, shortening your time on the water! We can store up to 8 rods upright, with plenty of room for gear and tackle bags. We are an artificials only service; we do not buy bait. All morning fishing charters begin at 7am, and return between 12 and 1pm. Afternoon charters (when offered) begin at 2pm, and return between 6 and 7pm. Morning trips may be extended on the water at the discretion of the captain and ALL passengers at the rate of $50 per additional hour (whole boat) payable immediately. We are 100% catch and release on ALL bass and shark/ray species; limit 2 retention on other legal sized gamefish like halibut and corvina.
I provide with all charters:
a cooler with soft drinks and water
some simple snacks
You provide:
a hat and sunglasses
your fishing license
a good attitude!
All fishing charters booked are $300, with each additional hour $50. rental gear is available for $25 for all persons aboard if needed! Lobster Charters (November 1st to February 28th) are $300 with no option to extend. Please see note above about special limited time pricing! Rental gear is available for $25 for all persons aboard if needed.
Above prices are for the entire boat, not per person!
I am beginner friendly, however I make no guarantees that you will catch anything on these exploratory trips.
All charters are not confirmed until you are contacted the day prior to the charter via text, call or email to decide meeting location. We are a dry operation; no alcohol allowed on board (for now), and as this is a federally regulated operation, no cannabis, cannabis paraphenilia, or cannabis related products including CBD are allowed onboard! Cash tips preferred and appreciated, but Venmo appreciated onsite as well.
Note: for those bringing your own gear, I recommend rods and reels able to comfortably fish 15-30lb line, and 1/2-2oz jigheads and lures.
